Twice a year (in March and Nov) Thomas (and some of his friends come to Glenbrook Vintage Railway in Auckland.
We last went in Nov 2009. I was very pregnant and the place was absolutely packed and chaotic. I vowed we would never go again.
I knew it was all on again this weekend and at 2pm today I was watching the 3 boys standing around their train table playing intently and decided "what the heck - let's go!".
It was raining lately and we got there late in the day and it was......................perfect!
